To some, the size and weight of breasts can be annoying in everyday lives. Breast weight can be thought of sandbags varying from hundreds of grams to 1–2 kilo in front of your body.

Definition of “big breast”
Breast volume is scanned and measured by equipment in studies which are not available in ordinary homes. Thus, we can only find clues from the demographic datas in participating subjects of related studies.
To know whether or not you are in the “big breast” group, there are some indicators you can follow:

- BMI> 27
How the breast weight affect your spine?
Breast weight increase forward flexion torque to the spine.
Forward head or flexion of the cervical spine is common in big breast women, leading to neck pain.
As for the thoracic spine, thoracic kyphosis is observed in those with women with big breasts. The posture alteration often lead to upper back pain and decreased rib mobility.
In contrast with cervical and thoracic spine, the lumbar spine is extended to balance the forward flexion torque. Lumbar curve is more prominent in the big breast group, increasing the chance of low back pain. According to statistics, 13% of big breast women have low back pain.
Is muscle fatigue common in big breast women?
Muscle activities increase to cope with flexion torque.
According to an EMG study, the abdominal and back muscles are more active in big breast women, providing stability to the trunk. However, this would increase pressure on the spine (increase 12~18% pressure).
Higher activity levels in the muscles means that the big breast women are more prone to be fatigue in the long term. They are in higher risks of developing chronic pain and myofascial pain.
Breast size fluctuate due to hormone changes and body weight.
Pregnant moms have larger tendency to suffer from these changes. Be sure to treat them well and give them massage to show gratitude.
